VANOS FAULTS

All R56 petrol CAR’s (Made from 2006 to 2014) have a Vanos and Valvetronic system. These systems adjust both the valve timing and valve lift to increase engine power and fuel economy.

When the systems fail, symptoms can include the engine cutting out, engine management light illuminated and poor running.
